All right CARL. Answering all those questions so directly with great care. Love you Carl. This is the best video yet. Good job.
My boss has run both bale baron and arcusin. He bought the arcusin becuase that was what he could afford. In a lot of his work you need the manuvurability of the arcusin. He preferred the bale baron as it feeds better.
How can one learn how to venture into this business ?
Actually, why are the new tractors red and not green?
No time for that boat I bet.
Where the hell did that one rock come from? Those fields look perfect .... no rocks.
How on earth can you pay for all that equipment selling hay etc. How many bales of hay or other crops do you have to sell to pay for all that stuff. Stressful.
Can those dogs earn their keep and kill a groundhog. They might stroke out. LOL. Good videos though. Thumbs up!
What county are you in? Here in Henry county we don't normally thead but we have at times. I spent much time on the wagon behind the bailer bucking bails. Then loading the heymow in the barn. We never had equipment like you have back in the the 60s and 70s. FARM ON!!!!!❤
We are in Medina county. Farm on!
We are in n.e. Oklahoma. We are in the market for a bale bundler. Very informative video. Thanks for taking the time. Answered many questions about both machines.
Thank you for the comment. We are happy this brought you some value
Baking hay in the heat of the day big mistake losing many leaves
We don’t bale really any other time of day in Ohio
I feel bad for the sucker that had to unload that van trailer. Hay was packed in there tight!
Machine unload thankfully! 😅
Super impressive operation. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for viewing and the comment!
As a teen, i worked for a pair of brothers that made hay for the horse market. We have a racetrack nearby, so they need very good hay. Alfalfa and rye was the majority. Occasionally clover too. Man did they pack those bales!!! You really worked on that mowing crew! They took care of us though. Working on dairy farms felt like ez mode, lol. Much lighter bales, and they used balers with throwers and badket wagons. Again, mostly alfalfa/ timothy hay, clover/ timothy hay, and oat straw. One farm caught the second cut clover perfectly. Tons of leaves and flowers, and small stems. Those bales were blue!! And velvety soft. The cows went crazy for it! Musta been delicious!
Go get 1 big square or 2 round balers and scrap out those small square balers make life better for you
Wir in Deutschland machen 20.000 Ballen mit einer Maschine, was macht ihr sonst so😅
Great video
Just a thought, have you tried heavy duty plastic on trailer floor, then pull with straps.
Beautiful farm
Never seen this method for building sheds , very labor intensive
It should be about as permanent as you can get. Atleast that’s the hope
Good video.
Thank you!
Carl reminds me of a jedi master. Beneath that calm exterior is a sharp mind and a wealth of knowledge, and everything he says and does has a purpose.
Rent a concrete vibrator. Will definitely cut down on the physical labor and will give you a better result.
Ask him the guy that’s doing the concrete with the forms ask him if it’s a real bad day when you have a blowout I worked with them forms for 21 years doing House and buildings like that we call him laying them on the belly😊
Nice! Consistent vids from my favourite farming channel. PJ is a weapon of a man. Legend.
Im goimg to be honest here. Carl would be retired, no way in hell would i listen to anyone telling me what to do, if they arent able to do it themselves. You think your way is better? Awsome, im going home, you can finish it your way. Carl would shut up real fast, better yet, he might just go home

Great video! Are those Hey Dudes and snazzy socks OSHA approved?
Daaaaaaamn Daniel thats gonna be one big barn.
Good thing CARL is watching and keeping everyone straight. And if it rains, he's the only one ready with the umbrella.
Is the chaffhaye or alfalfa pellet factory next?
So many tractors, on a Hay Day! Enormous Effort Guys! 👏👏👏👨🌾
Holy shitballz lads! That's a bloody massive barn!
Why aren’t the bales made the proper size to begin with? Seems to me your operation is redundant.
Some of this is hay that we bought in the large square form
Well lets see some work in that field ! Geez no talking more work😮
Good Job, 'TeamWork'
I bet those bells would make great milk with the cattle that produce high milk fat
Those are the most beautiful bells I've ever seen! They must be worth a premium. It's too bad there's not a lot more of them.
Bro I love farmers! Respect!
Long story going nowhere
We did sell our hay bales but we ran 90 lbs bales and a newhollond bale wagon, or 3 flat beds, 118 bales per wagon, had milk caw set up 86 stall free stall barn 245’ long 5 silo’s 3 were haylage,2 were silage 2 20x80 and 3 15 x 60 silo’s
Your dad looks like the late actor Danny Aiello 😂
Ill buy a load too bad im in new Mexico 😅
We can ship!
When we had cattle and we had to purchase our hay we always would throw salt onto the round bales. This would help dry out any extra moisture in the hay and the cows would pretty much clean up the hay better between each bale.
Great sound. Great videography. Smooth production. Nice James Cyril Bamford tele handler!
I think it's a male thing, have you ever seen big holes dug on the beach?
I’m 22 and would love to drive doing this in a manual wish I was closer to wherever this is
All small squares?
Gosh this farm is 3 hours from me haha. (I'm western PA resident) You guys have quite the setup for commercial Haying being in ohio.
Where is it ?
Never heard of clay for building up in the north we dig that crap up and replace it with class five gravel .
Dang that would be pricey!
Dang that would be pricey!
Building is expensive nowadays . But for a building to last the clay most be covered up with a better material .
